Dear 21,

You were a good year. We made lots of memories, tried new things, met new people, lost touch with some friends, cried, laughed, grew, changed, explored, and ran (a lot). A few of my favorites with you include...

-welcoming you with a night of Salsa dancing, the traditional "Latin birthday dance", and a late night McDonald's run
-going to Hawaii to visit my favorite brother
-teaching high school Spanish and middle school ESL in a public school
-graduating
-running my first (and second) half-marathon
-running my first marathon
-hosting Destino East-Coast Conference in Raleigh
-watching Destino grow and new leaders emerge
-playing bucket-ball, IM softball, and IM volleyball (thanks Amanda Bergeron!)
-watching friends from high school get married and have babies
-raising money for Mexico
-proudly watching my dad complete his first triathlon
-Salsa dancing
-starting Graduate School
-having a surprise graduation party (thanks mom and dad)
-working my second year at Stoneridge Tavern
-buying my first road bike

You flew by, yet went so slowly. I was definitely sad to leave you, but so far, 22 is not too bad!
